Frenship High School is a 10 minute drive south to Wolfforth, Texas. As the largest high school in the area, Frenship High hosts a full range of 6A competitive sports programs and collegiate preparatory opportunities.

Lubbock Private Schools

If you seek private education, Lubbock has you covered! Multiple Christain schools are near Portofino, including Lubbock Christian School and Kingdom Preparatory Academy—both can be reached within a 5-10 minute drive. Trinity Christian School is the most popular private school in Lubbock with approximately 625 students and an average tuition of about $7,800 per year (as of 2021).
