Ballet Lubbock’s The Nutcracker Digital Showings
It’s more than a show, it’s a magical moment! As one of Lubbock’s most loved holiday traditions, Ballet Lubbock’s production of “The Nutcracker” is always on many wish lists. This year all your Sugar Plum Fairy dreams can still come true because The Nutcracker has gone digital! You can catch the performance snuggled up in your car at the Stars & Stripes Drive-In Theatre on Friday, December 11th at 7:30 p.m. or stream it from home beginning December 11th. Christmas Village at the American Windmill Museum
In West Texas, we love our windmills. We even have a museum to show them off. But this time of year, The American Windmill Museum adds a special treat to the line-up with their Christmas Village display. Exhibited now through December 25th, this festive holiday highlight features the St. Nick Express, a detailed township display and joyous activity for kids and adults alike. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Santa Land 2020
If you live in Lubbock, you likely agree the season is not complete without a trip to Santa Land! Buckle up for the 64th annual Santa Land! Yes, Santa Land is still happening this year, as a drive-thru event from December 10th through the 23rd from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. With approximately 50,000 people visiting each year, this Lubbock-holiday staple needs to be on your list.
